tooths brewery

at the last minute on sunday we took a drive down to the southern highlands. i grabbed a few bits of gear cause i knew that there was no way that i was going to pass up the opportunity to check out the abandoned tooths brewery buildings in mittagong

i want to do a model shoot down there (there was one being shot on the day we visited) so this was a great opportunity to scout out locations. i also wanted some background plates for some comps i'm working on.  

the amazing texture and colours of the building at the top of the hill - especially with all the graffiti is great for some hdr. i shot all these interiors in 5 shots, 1 stop increments. processed in photomatix. i definitely need to clean a few of these up a bit but i like the results already.

we then crossed over to the second set of buildings on the other side of the creek. this is a multi-level structure with lots of stuff inside. and very cool photo ops all over.
